SYCHARTH CASTLE


SYCHARTH CASTLE

An 11th century motte and bailey castle, later turned into a wooden manor house for Owain Glyndwr at the end of the 14th century. It was totally destroyed by King Henry V in 1403 to try to end the Glyndwr Welsh uprising.
