ST AUBIN'S FORT (JERSEY)

ST AUBIN'S FORT

The fort stands on a tidal island, one third of a mile offshore, and was finished in the 1540s. At that time St Aubin was the primary port on Jersey and the fort controlled the entrance. A causeway extends from the road in front of the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club to the fort, and can be reached on foot at low tide.

The fort is closed to the public.
