It consists of a 14th century hall block with later 15th and 16th century additions and remodelling. The original pele tower is on the right hand side of the photo, reduced from its original three storey height, with the central hall and the left hand wing also of the 14th century. There is documentary evidence to suggest that there was an additional tower, a curtain wall and a gatehouse at this site.
