KIRTLING TOWER

Kirtling Tower is all that now remains of the moated Kirtling Hall, which was built during the early 15th century. The tower, the original gatehouse, was retained when the rest of the house was demolished in 1801. A new house has since been built. The tower is currently (2004) under repair.
