A medieval horse-shoe shaped enclosure measuring 100 by 150 feet internally, with a gap on the north-west side. It sits high on the hills near a pass with good views of the surrounding countryside. The bank rises up to 4 feet high above the interior and up to 12 feet above the base of the ditch around it.
