Horgrove Enclosure

In the community of Cefn Cribwr.
In the historic county of Glamorgan (Modern authority of Bridgend, preserved county of Mid Glamorgan).

An oval enclosure, c.66m NW-SE by 48m, ditch-defined. Reject as castle by Spurgeon who writes "Horgrove is probably an iron-age hill-slope enclosure." Was included in a list of medieval ringworks which might be found to be Iron Age in the RCAHMW Inventory for hill forts, but was intended to be described in Vol3 pt1a, however rejected as medieval before this published - so not described fully in an Inventory.
