Llandaff Archdeacons Castle

In the community of Llandaff.
In the historic county of Glamorgan (Modern authority of Cardiff, preserved county of South Glamorgan).

Substantial house depicted on John Speed's Map of 1610. Reputed as the castle of the archdeacons of Llandaf. On flood plain and by river Taff so could have be moated. Although dismissed as a castle by Spurgeon this subtantial and possibly moated building could possibly be considered a fortified manor house.
