In the community of Ewenny.
In the historic county of Glamorgan (Modern authority of Vale of Glamorgan, preserved county of Mid Glamorgan).

Strong crenulated wall with towers and two gatehouses around priory, probably had wet ditches. A transept of the church seems to have been used as a tower. The C13 Precinct Walls enclosed 1.56 hectars and incorporated the North Transept of the Romanesque Priory church on one section of its circuit.
