Cardiff Town Walls

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Caerdydd; Kidis; Kerdif

In the community of Castle.
In the historic county of Glamorgan (Modern authority of Cardiff, preserved county of South Glamorgan).

No remains, had comparatively small area, apparently five gates. Mentioned 1184 as palisaded and 1349 as stone. Was reported as being subatantially intact in 1578 and appears to have been demolished from the later C18.

This site has been described as a;
Urban Defence.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Certain.
Nothing visible remains.
