Beauville Castle

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Bove Hill; Bouville; Bovill

In the community of Dinas Powys.
In the historic county of Glamorgan (Modern authority of Vale of Glamorgan, preserved county of South Glamorgan).

C19 farmhouse on site of medieval house accepted as castle by Clark. Spurgeon reports there is no medieval record or manorial context for a fortified site at Beauville. Foundations, traces of walls, and rubble have been reported at four locations on higher ground near Beauville Farm, at ST13907234, ST13707220, ST13727205 and ST13727210, but none of these sites displays evidence of fortification.

This site has been described as a;
Fortified Manor House.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Questionable.
Masonry footings remains.
