Stradmore Motte

In the community of Beulah.
In the historic county of Cardiganshire (Modern authority of Ceredigion, preserved county of Dyfed).

CARN record of motte. Location given places site in valley flood plain, an unusal site for castles in Wales but a typical place to find glacial deposits etc. The lack of other authories and the untypical location must make this a doubtful site.

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Questionable.
Earthworks remains.
