"Grant to Henry Waver, knight, that he shall have for himself and his heirs and assings view of frank-pledge and all that pertains to it within the manor of Thester Waver to be held twice each year within the manor and its precinct with waif and stray within the same manor and his manor of Waver Merston and their precincts in the county of Warwick; that he and his said heirs and assigns may build and crenellate walls and towers around and within his manor of Thester Waver; that they may impark and enclose 500 acres of land and pasture and 20 acres of wood at either of the manors; and that they shall have free-warren in all the demense lands of the said manors and the several fisheries in all the waters of the said manors, and no one shall enter therein to hunt or fish without their licence under forfeiture to the king of 10l. provided that the said lands be not within the metes of the forest."
