In 1325/6, was possibly granted, by Edward II, (In year 19 of his reign) a Royal licence to crenellate (Salisbury)

There is insufficient evidence to be certain about this possible licence to crenellate.


Parker writes "We have also a licence to crenellate a house in the city in the 19th Edward II: this house we have not been able to trace." I can't trace the licence and without some details tracing the house is impossible.
