Cymbelines Mount, Ellesborough

In the civil parish of Ellesborough.
In the historic county of Buckinghamshire (Modern Authority of Buckinghamshire, 1974 county of Buckinghamshire).

Medieval motte and baileys castle on the tip of a spur below Beacon Hill. The motte is about 42m in diameter an 6 to 8m high and c.15 wide at the top. There are two baileys, the larger one is to the south and roughly square about 40m across. The northern bailey is later and measures 48m by 20m.

This site has been described as a;
