Langley Marish royal manor

In the civil parish of Wexham.
In the historic county of Buckinghamshire (Modern Authority of Buckinghamshire, 1974 county of Buckinghamshire).

Royal manor for most of C14 and C15, mainly held by queens in dower. Was moated. Thompson records this as a residential manor of the Archbishop of Canterbury but I can find no evidence to support this. The descent of the manor is recorded in the VCH.

This site has been described as a;
Palace.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.
Nothing visible remains.
