Palace of the Bishop of London

In the civil parish of City Of London.
In the historic county of London, City of (Modern Authority of London, City of, 1974 county of Greater London).

Palace of Bishop of London by the north-west corner of old St Pauls and included a two-storeyed chapel as at Lambeth. '...a large thing for Receit wherein divers Kings have been lodged, and a great Household hath bene kept, as appeareth by the Great Hall, which of late yeers, since the rebatement of Bishops livings, hath not been furnished with Household Meynie and Guests, as was meant by the builders thereof...' (Stow)
