Bedstone Castle Ditches

In the civil parish of Bedstone.
In the historic county of Shropshire (Modern Authority of Shropshire, 1974 county of Shropshire).

Small enclosed settlement of Iron Age or Romano British date located on Bedstone Hill. The enclosure is quadrangular and contains a number of well defined building platforms. Earthworks within the interior have been reduced by C20 ploughing and a road truncates the north east corner

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle.
This site is rejected as a medieval fortification or palace.

This site is a scheduled monument protected by law.
