Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Newhouse Farm

In the civil parish of Aston Ingham.
In the historic county of Herefordshire (Modern Authority of Herefordshire, 1974 county of Hereford and Worcester).

PastScape record reads "A possible Medieval motte and adjacent earthwork platforms and ditches mapped from aerial photographs." The given map ref for this site is occupied by New House Farm, has no apparent stategic value, and is 800m south of the village church and the presumable manorial centre of Aston Court (which is in a defensible and stategic position by road and river crossing). Herefordshire SMR record at SO68522293 a post Medieval Brickworks recorded on the 1840 Tithe map and I presume this is what this record refers to.

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle.
This site is rejected as a medieval fortification or palace.
