Radford Semele

In the civil parish of Radford Semele.
In the historic county of Warwickshire (Modern Authority of Warwickshire, 1974 county of Warwickshire).

Nothing known of reported castle. Possible a reference to some earlier building on site of Radford Hall, which was the manor house, at SP341647. Alternatively a reference to a lost large mound on the Fosse Way, NW of Ufton, described by Burgess as a barrow (if this and if this was on the Fosse then possibly used as a motte as part of control of a major route.)

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Questionable.
Uncertain remains.
