Aston Hall

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Aughton Court

In the civil parish of Aston cum Aughton.
In the historic county of Yorkshire West Riding (Modern Authority of Rotherham, 1974 county of South Yorkshire).

C18 Hall on site of manor house, possibly dating from before conquest but new hall built in C14 by then Archbishop of York.

This site has been described as a;
Fortified Manor House.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Questionable.
Nothing visible remains.
