Halloughton Manor House

In the civil parish of Halloughton.
In the historic county of Nottinghamshire (Modern Authority of Nottinghamshire, 1974 county of Nottinghamshire).

Originally a prebendal house, now a farmhouse. Built in C13 or C14 as a three storey tower. A timber framed hall was added to the left of the tower in 1580-1630 and further extensions were built in C18 and early C19. Restored in 1965.

This site has been described as a;
Pele Tower.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Certain.
Major remains.
