Errington Tower

In the civil parish of Wall.
In the historic county of Northumberland (Modern Authority of Northumberland, 1974 county of Northumberland).

Remains of towerhouse incorperated into C18 house apparently not mentioned before 1715. Called Errington Castle on map of 1769. This clearly well known site is not recorded in the SMR. PastScape record reads "Approximate site of a strong house, known as Errington Hall. Little is known about it other than that it was succeeded in the second half of C14 by Cocklaw Tower. Nothing remains of this earlier building and its precise location is lost."

This site has been described as a;
Pele Tower.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.
Uncertain remains.
