Buckton Tower

In the civil parish of Kyloe.
In the historic county of Durham; North (Modern Authority of Northumberland, 1974 county of Northumberland).

Site of a medieval pele tower at Buckton, documented in a survey of 1415. The tower had disappeared by 1581. A source dating from 1626 refers to a barn, kiln and dovecote on the site.
