Ingram Vicars Pele

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Ingram Parsonage; Inggeram; Inggerram; Ingrame

In the civil parish of Ingram.
In the historic county of Northumberland (Modern Authority of Northumberland, 1974 county of Northumberland).

The alleged location of a tower house, not recorded in the survey of 1415. Decayed by 1541 and destroyed by river changing course in 1580's. Dodds states the tower was not a vicar's pele but a tower large enough to accomodate 40 or 60 men. Possibly towerhouse that degraded and became a parsonage later.

This site has been described as a;
Tower House.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Certain.
Nothing visible remains.
