Chatton Earls Tower

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Forsters Tower; Fowberyes Tower; Fowberry's Tower; Ederston

In the civil parish of Chatton.
In the historic county of Northumberland (Modern Authority of Northumberland, 1974 county of Northumberland).

Vanished tower, extant pre 1415, once capable of accomodating 40 men, last recorded in 1616. One of "two little towers without barmkins' mentioned in 1541.

This site has been described as a;
Tower House.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Certain.
Nothing visible remains.
