Barton Seagrave Castle

Also known as, or recorded in historical documents as; Barton Hanred

In the civil parish of Kettering.
In the historic county of Northamptonshire (Modern Authority of Northamptonshire, 1974 county of Northamptonshire).

Earthworks of two medieval moated enclosures. One has been identified as the site of the manor of Barton Hanred, last documented in 1433. The other contained fishponds. Nicholas Seagrave obtained a licence to crenellate in 1310.

This site has been described as a;
Fortified Manor House.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.
Earthworks remains.
