Ingleby Manor

In the civil parish of Ingleby Greenhow.
In the historic county of Yorkshire North Riding (Modern Authority of North Yorkshire, 1974 county of North Yorkshire).

Manor house built in C16 and C17 and considerably altered in late C18 and mid C19. The stone-built house is rectangular in plan with two internal courtyards divided by the hall range, which was originally open to the roof. The three storey gatehouse leads into the outer court with the hall range opposite. Ingleby Manor was occupied by the Eures family from the mid C16, and by the Foulis family from 1609 to the mid C19.
