Walpole St Peter

In the civil parish of Walpole.
In the historic county of Norfolk (Modern Authority of Norfolk, 1974 county of Norfolk).

King writes "Destroyed mound may have been motte." PastScape record for a "Medieval mound, possibly a navigation marker, windwill mound or motte" at TF49911696. Both mounds appear on 1886 map, neither looks like a motte. Whilst both were close to church the actual manorial centre appears to be Old Manor Farm.
