Washingley Hall Farm

In the civil parish of Folksworth And Washingley.
In the historic county of Huntingdonshire (Modern Authority of Cambridgeshire, 1974 county of Cambridgeshire).

Earthworks of a deserted Medieval settlement and a possible motte and bailey which was originally identified as a moated site. Earthworks of several mounds have also been identified, these have been interpreted as round barrows. The motte is 2.6m high, and the bailey ditch has been mutilated by building and ploughing.

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.
Earthworks remains.

This site is a scheduled monument protected by law.
