Dilwyn Ringwork

In the civil parish of Dilwyn.
In the historic county of Herefordshire (Modern Authority of Herefordshire, 1974 county of Hereford and Worcester).

The earthwork remains of a Ringwork. The moat encloses a circular area about 165ft in diameter and rising slightly above the surrounding ground and with the remains of a rampart. Square building with walls greater than 2m thick found on excavation.

This site has been described as a;
Timber Castle
Masonry Castle.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Certain.
Earthworks remains.

This site is a scheduled monument protected by law.
