Cusop Castle

In the civil parish of Cusop.
In the historic county of Herefordshire (Modern Authority of Herefordshire, 1974 county of Hereford and Worcester).

The earthwork and buried remains of Cusop Castle ringwork, a natural outcrop enhanced by quarrying and the construction of earthen ramparts. There are now no traces of buildings within the ringwork, but it is believed that the foundations of the medieval structures will survive below ground. Foundations of stone curtain found and reported traces of stone gateway were found in C18.
