Skirpenbeck Manor House

In the civil parish of Skirpenbeck.
In the historic county of Yorkshire East Riding (Modern Authority of East Riding of Yorkshire, 1974 county of Humberside).

Moated site at Manor House on the eastern end of the village of Skirpenbeck. The site is large and complex, and lies within a wider group which included fishponds and a series of water management channels. Aerial photography taken in 1997 shows only the central moat survives.

This site has been described as a;
Fortified Manor House.
The confidence that this site is a medieval fortification or palace is Possible.
Earthworks remains.

This site is a scheduled monument protected by law.
